After Treatment Instructions
Here are some steps we recommend after treatment:
- Apply cold compresses to reduce inflammation and cool your skin. We may recommend a topical ointment for comfort and additional treatment
- Avoid scrubbing the skin for a few days as this may cause skin irritation.
- Darker spots may fall off or peel away. This effect is a normal consequence of the treatment but feel free to call us if you have concerns.
- Some patients experience a temporary change in tone, which will resolve to normal pigmentation and color.
