Restylane and Lyft Applications
Restylane and Lyft are hyaluronic acid-based gel fillers, meaning they act as a “cushion” to support the facial structures and hydrate the skin in the treatment area.
Restylane and Lyft are injected in the lines around the nose, corners of the mouth, and around the lips. We also use Restylane and Lyft to restore volume to the face, especially after weight loss.
Lyft has larger particles, making it a wiser choice for adding volume to the cheeks and deeper wrinkles and folds.
What Happens During Treatment?
Restylane and Lyft fillers include lidocaine, so the injections are not painful. To ensure that you are comfortable during treatment, we apply ice and a specially formulated topical numbing gel. Drs. Burt and Will inject a tiny amount of Restylane or Lyft into your face using a very fine needle. Deeper folds and lines may require multiple injections. The injections usually take about 15 minutes.
Most of our patients notice results before leaving our office. You may experience some mild swelling, redness or bruising, but these are only temporary side effects. You can immediately return to your normal activities after treatment with Restylane and Lyft.
Results
Depending on where the fillers are injected, results can last up to 12 months. If you’d like to maintain your results, our team recommends repeat “touch-up” treatments which help the products last longer.
